This barrier island sanctuary boasts a spectacular water display where waves shoot up to 50 feet in the air as they burst through holes in the Anastasia limestone rocks better known as Blowing Rocks Preserve. Blowing Rocks Preserve is a magnificent barrier island sanctuary located on Jupiter Island between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River Lagoon. Blowing Rock protects avarietyof natural habitats including beach dune, coastal strand, mangrove wetlands, tropical hammock and oak hammock along its rocky shoreline.
